This holiday season, The Naples Players invites audiences to celebrate family, love, and resilience with Little Women: The Musical, performing November 19 through December 21, 2025, in the Kizzie Theater. Sponsored by Lake Michigan Credit Union, this heartwarming production transforms Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel into a sweeping musical that captures the spirit of the season and the power of following one’s dreams.

Little Women: The Musical follows the journey of the March sisters—Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy—as they grow, dream, and discover who they are in a world of change. Their story of courage, creativity, and compassion makes this timeless classic a perfect way to embrace the warmth and wonder of the holidays.

The show will be directed and choreographed by Dawn Lebrecht-Fornara, a longtime member of TNP’s creative team, with musical direction by her husband, renowned conductor and musician Charles Fornara. The creative team also includes Starlet Jacobs (Scenic Design), Evan Carlson (Lighting Design), and Sean McGinley (Sound Design).

The talented cast features Vanessa Rossberg as Jo March, Malena Tucker as Meg March, Hannah Schumacher as Beth March, Alessa Vazquez as Amy March, and Dede Brownlee as Marmee March, alongside Christian DeSalvo (Laurie Laurence), Matthew Schwabauer (Professor Bhaer), Bret Poulter (Mr. Laurence), Jon Declet (Mr. Brooke), and Carolina Grau (Mrs. Kirk).

“Each year, our holiday productions remind us how theatre brings people together,” said Bryce Alexander, Executive Artistic Director. “Little Women is filled with laughter, music, and the kind of heartfelt storytelling that makes the holidays at TNP truly magical. This show celebrates family and hope in a way that feels both timeless and beautifully human.”

In addition to its full run, a Relaxed Performance—designed to provide a comfortable, judgment-free environment for individuals and families who benefit from a more relaxed setting—will take place on Tuesday, December 9. For all other performances, the Patti Hepburn Sensory Booth, the only one of its kind in the United States, will be available for reservation to guests who prefer a sensory-friendly viewing experience.

Throughout the run of Little Women: The Musical, TNP’s lobby will once again be transformed for the 6th Annual Festival of Trees. This beloved Naples tradition features dozens of artist-decorated and themed trees, wreaths, and décor pieces available for purchase, with proceeds supporting TNP’s community programs.

Tickets for Little Women: The Musical are on sale now at NaplesPlayers.org or by calling the box office at 239.263.7990. Performances run Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

Celebrate the holidays with this heartwarming musical that proves some stories—and some families—never go out of season.
