In the heart of the vibrant Naples Design District, a joyful, art-filled space is redefining what it means to create with purpose. STAR Studio & Artisan Gifts, part of STARability Foundation’s pioneering Social Enterprise program, is where artistry, community, and empowerment come together under one bright, inclusive roof. Here, nearly 100 STARability participants of all abilities engage in vocational training, paid employment, and recreational art classes—while hand-crafting the meaningful items that fill the studio’s boutique.
From natural soy candles and hand-beaded bracelets to illustrated cards, tea towels, calendars, tote bags, holiday ornaments, and more, every item made at the STAR Studio has a story. Each gift is lovingly crafted, illustrated, and packaged entirely by our STAR artists and artisans. Their creativity is as vibrant as their mission: to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build skills, confidence, and independence. And when you shop at the STAR Studio, 100% of the proceeds directly support STARability’s innovative programs, helping participants reach personal and professional goals through vocational training, continuing education, teamwork, and community involvement.
As one of Southwest Florida’s leading nonprofits for four decades, STARability Foundation has served as a pioneering champion for the strengths and talents of people with IDD. What began as a small, dedicated group of parents has grown into a thriving organization serving hundreds of individuals ages 14 and older and their families. With a compassionate team and a commitment to fostering an inclusive community, STARability continues to shine a light on ability, creativity, and connection.
Beyond its on-site boutique, the STAR Studio partners with retailers across Naples and beyond—expanding the reach of its artisans’ work while fostering community collaboration. Current partners include Inspired Closets, Naples Art Institute, Naples Zoo, Sandpiper Clothiers, Wonder Gardens, and others, each showcasing a curated selection of STAR Studio creations. The Studio also welcomes corporate and custom orders, offering businesses meaningful, high-quality gifts that give back.
