Annual Showcase raises generous donation for Baker Senior Center Naples
Preferred Travel & Company is pleased to announce that ticket sales to its 2026 Luxury Travel Showcase resulted in a $15,000 donation to Baker Senior Center Naples. The funds will help the non-profit organization provide its wide-ranging social programs and services for older adults.
“We are delighted to support Baker Senior Center Naples which provides critical services to prevent isolation and loneliness in our community,” said Olga Placeres, President and CFO of Preferred Travel & Company. “Preferred Travel has been hosting a Luxury Travel Show for many years and each year we select a deserving nonprofit to benefit. It is our honor that this year we support Baker Senior Center.”
Baker Senior Center Naples is the only human services agency of its kind, providing “one-stop shop” services addressing the emotional and social needs of adults over the age of 60 in Collier and southern Lee counties. Since opening its doors in 2014, the organization has seen a surge in the depth and scope of need for comprehensive senior services in this region to help seniors combat isolation and loneliness.

With the theme “Travel in Full Bloom,” the 2026 Preferred Travel & Company Luxury Travel Showcase was held on Monday, February 9 at Artis—Naples. The showcase once again highlighted dozens of the agency’s esteemed travel partners, including tour groups, cruise lines, luxury resorts, and private jet providers. The evening also included delectable hors d’oeuvres, refreshing cocktails, and plenty of fun.
