Cabana Risings

Foundation work continues in Bonita Springs

Heatherwood Construction completed all phases of the pre-construction site and property clearance and excavation earlier this year for Cabana Resort and Spa. As announced, the 25-acre Bonita Springs development is now proceeding with the next phase of its development, the early Spring 2024 infrastructure and building projects.  Structural and exterior aspects of its largest single component, Cabana’s luxury seven-story, 110-unit residential tower, will be completed first.

Tom Runyon is the Director of Operations for Bonita Beach Land LLC. Since 2016, he has been the point person responsible for shepherding the Cabana Resort and Spa concept through all development, zoning, and approvals stages. He recently named Jesse Olsovsky to become Director of Construction for the Cabana project in addition to his current position as Owner’s Representative.

After earning his degree in architecture, Mr. Olsovsky went on to become a proud member of the first graduating class of construction engineers in 1999 from SUNY/Alfred State in Rochester, NY. He relocated to Florida following graduation for a job and pursued his career in related construction fields while also earning his Florida Class A General Contractor license.  With his wife and family, he experienced Hurricane Ian’s ravages firsthand in 2022.

As a family, they became active in neighborhood clean-up and humanitarian efforts which to this day powerfully influence Jesse’s business practices and sense of social responsibility.

As Cabana Resort and Spa’s general contractor, Heatherwood Construction’s “Building on Principle” motto underscores its commitment to “unparalleled standards of excellence, integrity, and good old-fashioned values within the commercial construction industry.”  Its record of successful project development and timely completions in the clubhouse, educational, healthcare, multi-family, municipal, office, restaurant, retail, storage, LEED/Green, and not-for-profit categories is a testament to its leadership and qualified staff performance.

Beasley and Henley Interior Design is a full-service design firm home based in Winter Park, FL with a strong presence in Naples. Its “passion for mindful design, creative spaces, and making moments” has earned it a global clientele over its 30+ years history, specializing in “exclusive residences, luxury amenity spaces, luxury models, turnkey design, and interior detailing.” As of this writing, it is on track to provide a full range of color, materials, and furnishings selections by early this summer, from which Cabana’s premier owners can determine their decor. Consultations by appointment will be required. When announced, they can be scheduled to take place at the Cabana Discovery Center in Bonita Springs.

Cabana Resort and Spa is designed to become Southwest Florida’s most innovative condominium and entertainment mega-development. Amenity-rich and meticulously engineered, it will deliver luxurious resort living and concierge-level conveniences to its owners, as well as inspired recreational, shopping, dining, and socializing options designed to involve and attract the community at large—all year round.  Multiple water features plus varied and expansive food, entertainment, and pop-up events will be some of the highlights of Cabana.

The Cabana Resort and Spa Discovery Center is located at 27901 Bonita Village Boulevard, Bonita Springs, FL  34134. It is open weekdays from 10 am – 5 pm and by weekend appointment.
