Evening for Better Tommorows

Baker Senior Center Naples, a nonprofit that provides comprehensive programs and social services for older adults and their families, will host its 14th Annual “Evening for Better Tomorrows: Deep Purple Dreams” signature fundraising gala on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Royal Poinciana Golf Club, 1600 Solana Rd. in Naples.
The evening will be a celebration of the many achievements and growth made possible over the past year at Baker Senior Center Naples thanks to generous donor and community support. The festivities kick off with a cocktail reception followed by a four-course dinner and brief presentation. Guests also will enjoy dancing to live entertainment with legendary Motown hits mixed with rock and roll songs by the band, Shadows of the 60s.
“Baker Senior Center Naples provides confidence, connection, and support to older adults living in Collier and southern Lee counties,” said Dr. Jaclynn Faffer, President/CEO of the Naples Senior Center. “This annual fundraiser will help us further meet that critical need in our community with expanded social services, programs, and engaging activities.”
The 14th annual “Evening for Better Tomorrows” begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $750 per person and Platinum Sponsor tables with preferred seating for 10 may be reserved for $10,000. A wide range of other sponsorship opportunities are also currently available. For more information, visit BakerSeniorCenterNaples.org or call 239.325.4444.
Baker Senior Center Naples is the only human services agency of its kind, providing “one-stop shop” services addressing the emotional and social needs of seniors in Collier and southern Lee counties. Since opening its doors in 2014, the organization has seen a surge in the depth and scope of need for comprehensive senior services in this region.
All programs and services are provided by licensed and credentialed professionals. These include structured dementia respite support, geriatric case management, senior outreach programs, and geriatric mental health counseling as well as a food pantry.
An average of 40 different social, educational, and wellness programs also are offered each week thanks to a dedicated corps of more than 200 trained and vetted volunteers. Among these social programs are classes in art, music and film, brain fitness and educational seminars, courses in technology and computer science, physical well-being, and interest groups. The center serves everyone regardless of backgrounds and beliefs.
Baker Senior Center Naples is one of just 111 senior centers across the United States, including just eight located within the state of Florida, to achieve accreditation from the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC). Accreditation means that the senior center meets the standards as developed by NISC in developing quality programs and services to meet the needs of seniors in the community.
