This September, two of Naples’ favorite sister restaurants are inviting neighbors to pull up a chair for a cause. Old Vines at Mercato and The Supper Club, located in the Shoppes at Vanderbilt, are participating in Sizzle Dining, Southwest Florida’s premier culinary event, running all month long.

Sizzle Dining offers diners a delicious excuse to explore the region’s best kitchens through specially priced, multi-course menus – and every meal gives back. For each Sizzle Dining meal sold, participating restaurants donate $1 to Blessings in a Backpack SWFL, helping feed food-insecure elementary school children across Southwest Florida.

At Old Vines, the Sizzle prix-fixe menu offers three courses for $49, available from 4 to 10 p.m., daily. Diners might begin with salmon and tuna tartare brightened by chili lime vinaigrette and mango or burrata paired with peaches and candied pecans, move on to entrees such as dry-aged duck breast with date sauce and plum or almond-crusted tuna over orange and saffron couscous, and finish sweetly with a limoncello-laced lemon tiramisu or chocolate and banana torte. Reservations are always recommended but not required.

The Supper Club’s three-course Sizzle Tasting Experience is offered for $59 per person, with an optional dessert course for an additional $14 and a wine pairing available for $30 more. The menu showcases the kitchen’s artistry course by course – from torched burrata with whipped hot honey and pistachio dukkah or delicate salmon crudo to rabbit roulade with apple cider butter and red grouper in brown butter caper sauce, before finales such as potato-crusted poussin with charred Honeycrisp apples or strip steak with black garlic demi-glace. Reservations are required for Sizzle Dining and all other prix-fixe dining experiences, while the lounge and patio remain open for à la carte dining.

The two restaurants may share a family tree, but each brings its own personality – and its own culinary talent – to the table. At Mercato, Chef-Partner Brooke Kravetz heads a kitchen known for casual fine dining from lunch to late night, serving imaginative reinterpretations of classic dishes inspired by Florida flavors. At The Supper Club, Chef de Cuisine Sophia Kiasi crafts an intimate, chef-driven experience built around seasonal tasting menus, specialty wine dinners and themed evenings, where dining and entertainment share the spotlight. Tying the two together is Wine Director Zach Bingham, who carefully curates the wine selections at both restaurant locations, championing lesser-known varietals from family-run vineyards around the world.

The hospitality extends well beyond a single reservation, too. Members of the Naples Cocktail Club enjoy two complimentary cocktails every day, while Old Vines’ Wine Locker program gives oenophiles a climate-controlled home for their collection in the heart of the Mercato dining room, along with discounts, VIP event access and other members-only perks.

The Supper Club’s 2,200-square-foot home channels 1930s and ’40s supper club glamour with crushed red velvet walls, bronze accents, dramatic drapery and a sleek black Dekton stone bar, while chic lounge seating and an open-air patio set the scene for pre-dinner bites and craft cocktails, before the dining room opens for reservation-only tasting menu experiences.

For gatherings worth celebrating, semi-private dining options include seated dinners for up to 65 inside Old Vines at Mercato or 45 on its covered patio, while The Supper Club’s dining room is available for private dining bookings of up to 40 guests. Guided wine tastings can also be arranged for a memorable group experience.

And the flavors keep evolving beyond Sizzle Dining. On Sept. 1, The Supper Club and Old Vines will introduce their Early Fall menu, welcoming the new season with fresh, seasonal flavors woven through tasting menu experiences.

Whether you’re toasting a milestone or simply looking for a reason to eat well and do good, Old Vines at Mercato and The Supper Club promise a September – and a season – to savor.
