A Journey of Impact and Resilience
"Capital is not just money, it’s a vision turned into momentum, driven to make an impact. The future belongs to those who dare to fund their vision.”

P. Blake Renda is Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Veedor Holdings LLC, a private investment and holding company behind Veedor I, a multi-strategy hybrid investment fund, and purpose-driven ventures including Dragon Horse Agency, Dragon Horse Publishing, and Moxie Creed, headquartered in Naples, Florida.
Known as a “Vision Capitalist,” Blake is driven by a core conviction: “Capital is not just money, it’s a vision turned into momentum, driven to make an impact. The future belongs to those who dare to fund their vision.” That is why, the belief that business should create opportunity, strengthen community, and elevate society has guided every chapter of his career.
Blake, a graduate of the University of Southern California, began his career at NBC Studios in Burbank, where he learned how storytelling shapes perception and the power of media and entertainment. With encouragement from his late father, Blake then entered the field of law and finance, moving to Palo Alto in Silicon Valley, an environment that pioneered venture capital and one that values innovation, decisive thinking, and challenging assumptions. This immersion into such a dynamic community led him to his “calling” and a move to the bulge-bracket, institutional buy side on Wall Street, where he joined a small team co-managing multi-billion-dollar technology portfolios with the historic firm of J. & W. Seligman & Co. and American Express Asset Management. Blake distinguished himself and was promptly acknowledged for his insights and accomplishments, being ranked by Institutional Investor Magazine as one of the “Best of the Buy Side.”
Blake’s most formative moments are not defined by recognition; they are defined by resilience. As a successful investor, he was soon challenged during “The Great Recession,” which shook the global financial system to its core. He describes that period as humbling and clarifying, and it taught him that setbacks can refine a leader’s purpose if they are willing to learn.
That experience ignited his desire for new challenges and led him to join an innovative lifestyle skincare startup as Chief Operating Officer. Over the next five years, the company grew significantly, highlighted by a successful joint venture in Japan. In 2015, it was honored as “Florida Retailer of the Year” by the National Retail Federation. For Blake, the achievement reinforced a core belief: when teams are united by purpose and disciplined execution, exceptional results follow. Today, this company is publicly traded.
Driven by his insatiable desire to innovate, invest, and build, Blake then launched Veedor Holdings LLC with Co-CEO Julie Koester, now celebrating its 11th year. A contrarian and calculated risk-taker, Blake champions ambitious ventures that create positive impact, guided by the Ubuntu principle, “I am because we are.” His vision is not simply about seeing what could be; it is about committing to building it, so all can rise with it.
Blake’s leadership philosophy is captured in a favorite quote from Sir Winston Churchill: “Success is not final; failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.”
