Art Lovers Enjoy an Artful April!

April is full of many art-filled opportunities in the Naples Art District! Every Thursday over 50 studios and galleries are open to visitors from 1-5 p.m., and in the evening, Art After Dark will be held on Wednesday, April 3 from 4-8 p.m. These fun, festive, and free events are a great way to meet our 100+ talented artists and discover their original artwork in a wide variety of media.

Join us for a Celebration of World Art Day on Saturday, April 13, from 1-5 p.m, offered in collaboration with United Arts Collier. World Art Day recognizes the universal language of art, transcending geographical, cultural, and linguistic barriers. To mark this event celebrated worldwide, the visual artistry in the Naples Art District will be complemented by performance art with live music, poetry readings, book signings, live art demonstrations, and art exhibits in our studio settings. Our member artist, Jan Edwards, also a singer-songwriter, will be introducing the newest songs from her recently released album at MuseBox (5880 Shirley Street, Studio #208). You will also enjoy filmmakers, musicians, poets, writers, a DJ, and performers from The Naples Players, Opera Naples, Arts Planet, and more.

Silent auctions for paintings, jewelry, and other works of art will be complemented by live painting demonstrations during the event. Fundraising initiatives are essential for all non-profit organizations. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Naples Art District offers our many programs free of charge with accessibility to all in our community. We are grateful to donors at any level of support. These contributions also support Arts Enrich, our partnership with Collier County Public Schools, where artistically talented high school seniors, who might not otherwise be able to afford arts enrichment opportunities, are mentored by our member artists. These students are often the first in their families to go to college and many pursue a career in the visual arts.

We hope to see you at these fun and entertaining events. Your support of the arts helps us continue to offer many programs free and accessible to all.
