It started with Coach Homes and grew into a Community

Antilles is the product of a family-owned company, JMD Development. They have been engaged and active in every aspect of the community on a business and personal level. JMD met the recent lifestyle-driven Florida migration with established pricing tiers to appeal to a broad income base. Notably, at the height of the post-Covid population influx, JMD did not increase the price of Antilles’ Coach Homes to meet the heightened demand. It slowed. It coped. It delivered. JMD continues to be a responsive and engaged partner in Antilles’ success. According to Matt Meridith, VP, of JMD Development, at a recent association meeting, “… It’s a family thing. We work … and we work to make it work.”
Cheryl Deering, Antilles’ marketing director and VP, John R. Wood Developer Resources, commented on the community ambiance recently, “We’re pleased that some of JMD’s friends and family chose to make Antilles their second home. One built a kayak in his garage over the winter … when it was finished, he wanted to do something nice for his neighbor’s son for helping with the woodworking. One idea led to another, and we ended up bringing in a photographer and turning it into our first impromptu launch party at the pool. Made a little history along the way. Nice people, nice neighbors.”
Antilles amenities are easily accessible highlights of everyday living and great places to meet the neighbors. There are no extra fees to access its 14,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor lifestyle features. The clubhouse is community-central for day-to-day information. Its gathering room hosts community events and celebrations as easily as it does board game nights and small fireplace lounge get-togethers. The club’s professional level fitness center is available on a 24/7 basis to all owners and their guests, and the homeowner-maintained book exchange is across the hall.

Antilles’ 9,000 square-foot outdoor living area has a huge pool and adjacent spa. The tiki hut with dual BBQ stations and the pergola-shaded fire pit are year-round Florida-style assets at their most tropical. Regulation pickleball and bocce courts and a four-hole putting green are outside the gated pool area.

All Antilles’ Coach Homes are three-bedroom units with attached garages and screened-in lanais. Pricing for 1,500+ square foot Classics starts at $500,000 and at $610,000 for larger Grand Coach Homes which feature expanded main living areas. Grand Coaches have up to 2,444 square feet under air. Some waterfront units along either Kingfisher or Sunset Lakes are still available.
